How to Brainstorm, Plan & Outline a Month of Youtube Content

You’ve started your Youtube channel and you want to stay consistent with content. But how do you plan out a month's worth of videos? It can be difficult to come up with ideas, outline your topics, and create content that keeps your audience engaged.

Here are some tips and tricks on how I brainstorm, plan, and outline my Youtube content so that I can stay consistent.

Step One: Brainstorming Ideas

Brainstorming is the foundation of any successful video creation process. I like to start by jotting down all the ideas that come to mind for a single video or an entire month’s worth of videos. Writing these ideas down will help get them out of my head so I can focus on developing them further. To stay organized in this step, I like to categorize my ideas into sections such as “Topics”, “Questions” and “Possibilities”. That way, when it comes time to actually create the videos later on, I have all my ideas in one place.

Step Two: Outlining Videos

Once I have a list full of ideas it is time to start outlining what each video will look like. This step helps me determine how long each video should be and what topics need to be covered in order for me to effectively communicate the message I am trying to convey. Outlining also helps identify any potential issues that may arise while creating the video before they turn into major problems down the line. This step is all about planning ahead and making sure every aspect of the video is accounted for before moving forward with production.

Step Three: Creating Content Now it is time for the fun part

Creating content! Having taken the time upfront to brainstorm and outline has made this step infinitely easier because now all I have to do is execute what was already planned out earlier in the process. By staying organized and taking one step at a time throughout this process, I am now able to steadily create high-quality content month after month while also keeping my viewers engaged with fresh material every week!

Making consistent Youtube content doesn't have to be difficult or overwhelming if you take small steps towards your goal each day. With a bit of planning and organization upfront - brainstorming ideas, outlining videos & creating content - you can easily create a month's worth of Youtube material without feeling overwhelmed or stressed about it! Good luck!
